About Philippe

Born and raised in France, I moved to Toronto, Canada in 1999 with my family. Holding a Master degree in Computer Science, I've been working in Credit Scoring and Enterprise Data Integration business ever since. From little Apple ][ BASIC programs to Cocoa samples, I always enjoyed "toying" around with my Apple computers but I didn't go far enough to become serious about software development on the Mac platform. Two years ago, decided to learn Cocoa in depth, I looked for resources on the Internet (tutorials, samples, etc...) to help me out without much success until I stumbled upon CocoaCast.com. To me it was such a great idea for Boris to share his learning experience with others that I frantically watched all his past episodes in order to catch up and be in a position to contribute. I started to send my solutions to the challenges from episode 22 on. When I wanted to show some Cocoa frameworks I discovered around the Web, I jumped in and recorded my first "CocoaCast style" screencast. "Pumped" by a great feedback from viewers, I continued to prepare and record new shows and more are to come... Now a member of the CocoaCast team, I'm glad to participate to the shows and expand my Cocoa knowledge in the most interactive way. I hope you will enjoy our shows as much as I do and get involved in the best development environment on earth.
